The late King of Pop Michael Jackson who died in 2009 still lives on in the heart of His adoring fans. Antoine Fuqua has chosen Jaafar son of Jermaine Jackson to play in a Biopic expected to be released soon.
Jaafar has started getting into the act as he posted a photo of himself in character on Instagram as he wrote;
‘I’m humbled and honored to bring my Uncle Michael’s story to life. To all the fans all over the world, I’ll see you soon.
Antoine Fuqua put out a statement saying;
“It’s incredibly exciting to watch Jaafar bring Michael to life. There was such a spiritual connection when I first met Jaafar who has a natural ability to emulate Michael and such a great chemistry with the camera.”
Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson in a statement commented on this
“Jaafar embodies my son. It’s so wonderful to see him carry on the Jackson Legacy of entertainers and performers.”
“Just being himself, [Jafaar] embodies so much of my dad and I’m confident we are all going to do our best to show the world a part of my father they’ve never seen and that they deserve to see.”
The Biopic will be distributed by Lionsgate will explore all of Michael’s life and his performances.
