Manchester United who is currently 4th in the English premier league table has made an interest in signing Wout Weghorst who plays as a striker for Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş but is currently on loan from EFL Championship club Burnley.
Manchester United have made contact with Burnley to see if the player can be loaned to them when his current loan is expired or this might just be that they might make Burnley cut short the loan of their striker in Beşiktaş.
It is no secret that Manchester United wants to sign a number 9 which strengthens their forward, Weghorst has a strong goal record, especially scoring the 2 goals for Netherlands against Argentina in the last World Cup in 2022.
It is unclear if Burnley will accept their negotiations at the moment.
