The Super Eagles of Nigeria landed at the capital of Costa Rica on Sunday ahead of their encounter on Thursday which is already expected by fans to be an international friendly between the two countries.
NFF Executive Committee member, Otunba Sunday Dele-Ajayi accompanied the Nigerian team as they touched down together at the Juan Santamaria International Airport aboard Copa Airlines through Panama City at 10:30 pm which is 5:30 am in Nigeria.
The total team consist of 18 players, two coaches and other Nigerian officials, the Super Eagles had already booked their reservations at the Real Intercontinental Hotel. The friendlies is to be held at the National Stadium in San Jose and will start at 8pm of its country’s time zone, Nigerian fans may not get to see their team at the world cup soon to be held at Qatar but this might be refreshing to see.
