Nigeria suffers a 2-0 defeat to Costa Rica

There was a large hope for Nigeria to show what stuff they were still made of to the Nigerian fans at the San Jose stadium but it ended up in a 2-0 defeat with Costa Rica emerging the victor. Nigeria had many goal chances but failed to utilize the opportunities that they had.

A goal was scored by Joe Campbell at the 8th minute and another goal was scored by Kendall Waston at the 74th minute. A yellow card was given to Keysher Fuller of Costa Rica at the 89th minute of the match while there seemed to be another goal that was almost made by the Costa Ricans at the 83rd minute which could have made it a 3rd goal.
