In a significant development, Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has dissolved the Local Government Transition Implementation Committee administration across all 17 local government areas.
This decision was announced in a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs, Gyang Bere, on Saturday.
Following the dissolution, Governor Mutfwang directed the Directors of Personnel Management to assume responsibility for administrating the council areas until elections are held on October 9, 2024.
