UEFA are taking a second look at the loopholes used by Clubs with deep pockets. In the current transfer window, there have been certain clubs that have called the attention of UEFA concerning clubs who give lengthy contracts to new signings.
This strategy used by clubs make it harder for smaller clubs to get players they feel will be value to their team when a transfer window comes up. The rule by UEFA is five years at maximum but big clubs are signing players for more than that period.
This ‘big clubs’ have come up with reasons justify their actions saying that it is intended to save up cost when they are paying large amounts for certain players. The UEFA board are currently looking into this and have finally said that in the next transfer window no club will be able to do this again.
