President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria has extended warm congratulations to Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, on his victory in the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

The 2024 U.S. presidential election, held on November 5, saw Trump running for re-election after losing to Joe Biden in 2020.
Trump secured the Republican nomination alongside running mate JD Vance becoming the 47th President of the United States.
