Rabiu on the rise as he becomes fourth richest man in Africa

It all seems to be that Founder and Chairman of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu has been on a roll for the past 2 years, he unseated Mike Adenuga to become the second richest man in Nigeria and is now the fourth richest in all of Africa dethroning Egypt’s Nassef Sawiris.

Forbes estimates that Rabiu’s net worth increased by more than $2.4 billion which adds to the $4.9 billion he had prior to 2022. Egypt’s richest man Nassef Sawiris has a shy of $7.6 billion as the majority of his wealth comes from his holdings in Adidas and OCI N.V.

On the other hand, Rabiu’s fortune comes from his manufacturing company, BUA Group. He also owns majority in both BUA Foods which went public in 2022.
