Former Chelsea footballer Fabio Paim has made headlines with his career transition to the adult entertainment industry.
The 36-year-old Portuguese winger began his football journey alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in Sporting Lisbon’s academy and even had a brief loan spell at Chelsea in 2008.
In an interview with Globo Esporte via Record, Paim discussed his new career path. “Here in Portugal, everyone is going crazy about my decision. People don’t take it the wrong way; that’s just how I am. On a podcast, I mentioned my dream of becoming a pornographic actor, and I received numerous offers.”
Paim reflected on his football career, acknowledging that his mentality held him back from reaching his full potential. “I was Sporting’s number one at that time. Cristiano started to become the Cristiano we know today after moving to Manchester.”
Despite this, Paim boldly claimed, “I had more talent than Cristiano Ronaldo, but talent alone isn’t enough.”
Paim also sparked controversy by requesting that Ronaldo give him one of his five Ballon D’Or awards. “Cristiano Ronaldo should offer me one of his Ballon D’Or. I grew up at Sporting, winning everything I could.” Ronaldo responded with a sarcastic Instagram post, asking, “Wtf??? Who is this guy?”
