Nigerian forward Terem Moffi has suffered a sprained ankle which would see him out of action for ‘a few days’. The 23 year-old badly injured his knee in the first half of Lorient’s clash against Reims on Saturday. FC Lorient revealed on it’s offical website that Moffi would not be able to come on thier trip to Troyes because of the injury.
Terem Moffi has been on record high with eight goals for Lorient this season.This has made him Nigeria’s highest goal scorer in Europe’s top five leagues.
If all goes well, Moffi will be able to play for Nigeria against thier next match with Costa Rica in November.
