Comrade Timi Frank, former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has made allegations against President Bola Tinubu, accusing him of orchestrating a sinister plot to oust Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Recall that just recently, a Federal High Court ruling seized the state’s monthly allocations, which Frank labels a blatant attempt to strong-arm Fubara into joining the APC or face removal from office.
“This is why the President has remained mute despite the gross violation of the Constitution by the courts and police in Rivers State,” Frank stated.
He further alleged that former Governor Nyesom Wike had warned Tinubu that Fubara’s governance posed a threat to his 2027 presidential ambitions.
Frank also said all security agencies and federal institutions are working in tandem to undermine Fubara, warning, “They have been directed to ensure that Fubara succumbs to the President’s wishes.”
“A stitch in time saves nine. Let the international community step in now before the crisis boils over,” Frank said.
He stressed that any harm to Fubara or the state could have far-reaching consequences, disrupting the operations of International Oil Companies in the Niger Delta.
“The people are solidly behind him.”
