Wayne Rooney, a former striker and all time leading goal scorer for Manchester United under the impressive leadership of Alex Fegurson has responded to comments made by his former teammate to him during the sit down interview with Piers Morgan.
Rooney has clearly stated that he will make no public statement on the matter and has always remarked that Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of the two best players in the world alongside Lionel Messi but Ronaldo needs to accept that He is in the latter stages of his career and being a player at a club the size of Manchester United means respecting the situation and not expecting to play every minute of every game.
Rooney has further said that He feels no animosity towards Ronaldo.
