Femi Gbajabiamila, the President’s Chief of Staff, has announced that the 2025 budget for State House agencies will be allocated based on a thorough needs assessment.
During a press briefing in Abuja on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, following a one-day tour of various government agencies, Gbajabiamila emphasized the importance of aligning budget allocations with actual requirements.
He highlighted the need for prioritization, given limited resources, and stressed that agencies will be evaluated on their performance, mandate relevance, and alignment with the administration’s vision and Renewed Hope Agenda.
Additionally, Gbajabiamila assured that the Presidency is committed to enhancing staff welfare and working conditions within State House agencies.
The Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, hinted at potential restructuring within government agencies, possibly involving mergers or elimination of underperforming entities, but clarified that this does not apply to State House agencies.
He emphasized that the 2025 budget will be based on a thorough needs assessment, ensuring a targeted approach.
Gbajabiamila also reaffirmed the Presidency’s commitment to enhancing staff welfare and working conditions within State House agencies.
He encouraged staff to embrace innovation, professionalism, and support their leaders in achieving success.
During his visit, he was accompanied by key officials, including Deputy Chief of Staff Ibrahim Hadeija.
