The England squad will be without a player as Ben White have left for personal reasons which has not fully been clarified yet. This sudden departure surprised England fans as White wasn’t in any of the three games they played, he wasn’t even on the bench during their match against Whales.
FA put out a statement immediately concerning this departure
“Ben White has left England’s training base in Al Wakrah and returned home for personal reasons. The Arsenal defender is not expected to return to the squad for the remainder of the tournament. We ask that the player’s privacy is respected at this moment in time.”
Arsenal in which White also plays for twitted out a statement on Twitter saying “We’re all with you Ben.”
